SUBMISSION
ELEGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
1) Films must have been completed after 1st of January, 2016.
2) Each director can send as many projects as they wish, there is no limit.
3) Since this is an international festival, audiovisual material from any country will be accepted.
4) All the short films in a language other than English must be subtitled in English for festival presentation.
5) The projects must include a poster and a sinopsis in English.
6) We will accept links to online versions of your film. You may enter a password protected link for Vimeo or an unlisted or private link for Youtube when completing the submission form VIA https://filmfreeway.com/darksoulfest. Links must remain active and accessible links must be active and accessible at least until July 10, 2021.
7) Short films must be submitted in the corresponding category. The festival reserves the right of admission and disqualification of short films in case of being registered in a section not corresponding to the genre of the short film.
8) Short films containing insults to minorities, which are disrespectful, discriminatory or encourage harassment will be immediately disqualified with no right to a refund of the entry fee.
9) The festival reserves the right of admission and disqualification of short films in case of non-compliance with the rules and bases of the festival.

We will stream the winner of this section and a second episode of the serie if there is recorded.
-Horror Medium Film

We will stream the winner of this section.
-Horror Feature Film
Length ->(60-120 minutes)
We will stream the winner of this section.
All winners will receive a code to participate in our next edition with a project in any section totally free. It may be a different section than the one you have won in this edition.
SCREENING REQUIREMENTS
If your film is selected for exhibition, please be advised that the festival will require:
Synopsis, cast and crew and other film info that you will upload to your film content page on filmfreeway.com
We need a Poster of your short film, if available, to promote your film during the festival.
THE SMALL PRINT
Entry fees are in € (euros), are per film and are non-refundable. The Festival reserves the right to disqualify a submission, without refund of any kind, if eligibility requirements are not met including if eligibility status changes post-submission.
All entries selected into DarkSoulFest grant DarkSoulFest the right to use any footage from the preview screener and all submitted publicity photos and any other materials sent to us pertaining to this entry for DarkSoulFest promotional purposes, without limitations.
